Ocean Center grand opening a huge success...Thank you!

The Volusia County Council thanks the thousands of residents and visitors who attended the Feb. 22 official grand opening and open house of the all new Ocean Center! From musical acts and stage performances to free refreshments and bounce houses, fun was had by all.

The Ocean Center food drive was a raging success, too! More than 8,700 food items were collected for the drive -- more than half of which came from visitors to the Feb. 22 open house. The donations will be distributed to five local nonprofit agencies in Volusia County. Thank you to all the Grand Opening guests to contributed to the food drive.
