National Step Competition dancing into Ocean Center

The National Collegiate Step Competition is coming to the Ocean Center Oct. 3, bringing with it a world of rhythm, dance and music.

The competition among college students will culminate in case prizes and trophies.

The competition is the result of a joint booking effort of the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ocean Center. Approximately 2,500 guests are expected to attend, according to event promoters. It’s the first time the event will be at the Ocean Center.

Tickets are on sale now at the Ocean Center box office and through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online. Adult tickets are $25. Tickets will be $10 for children ages 2 - 12. Applicable service charges apply. Children under 2 will be admitted free.
