Harlem Globetrotters coming to the Ocean Center Feb. 23; Tickets on sale now

The World’s Most Famous Team is coming to the World’s Most Famous Beach in February 2010 and tickets are on sale now.

The Harlem Globetrotters are bringing a new show and 2010 World Tour to the Volusia County Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, for a performance at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23. The 2010 World Tour represents the Globetrotters’ 84th consecutive season of world tours, and will include 270 shows in more than 200 cities through May 2010.

Globetrotters’ stars on the tour include Big Easy Lofton, Flight Time Lang, Special K Daley, Scooter Christensen, Handles Franklin and Ant Atkinson.

Tickets start at $17, plus applicable service charges, and may be purchased at the Ocean Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at , or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Individual ticket information also can be found on the Harlem Globetrotters’ official Web site www.harlemglobetrotters.com.

Ocean Center box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. On the day of show, the box office is open 10 a.m. - show time Monday through Friday, and noon - show time Saturdays and Sundays. The box office accepts cash, Visa and MasterCard. The Ocean Center box office is at 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.
