works of nine artists from across the
nation adorn the walls of the
new Ocean Center, thanks to Volusia
County’s Art in Public Places
program.
Volusia County’s Art in Public
Places program provides for 0.5 to 1
percent of total construction costs
to be set aside for procurement of
artwork to be placed in public areas
of all new, expanded or renovated
county buildings.

Residents and visitors are welcome
to visit the Ocean Center and tour
the 100,000-square-foot gallery
for themselves. The Ocean Center
is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
